It would be nice if fabric would last forever but it just doesn't. The green would have been just fine with me but the stuffing was being pulled out by my wonderful little grandson.

So, I decided to try my hand at covering them. It looks a lot harder than it really is...I have discovered that I really enjoy reupholstering things. Now, there is no stopping me.

I chose a nice Cranberry Damask...I love red...it makes me feel happy. I have been told that reds are suppose to make people feel angry or hungry...it doesn't make me feel either, it just makes me happy and very comfortable.

So, I started with the seat...It came out okay. Then I continued with the bottom of the seat. Still looking nice....

Started on the back when I got a little nervous and decided to use some pins....and plenty of them.....

The chair is complete...nice job...I love them and now on to the other one.

Just sit back and relax, read a book, gaze out the window at the birds or just enjoy a moment is a sweet seat.

A Larger Living Space

Daddy's little helper...not sure if you can tell what she is helping him do...so...I will tell you...she is picking you the nails that he is taking out of the wall so he can take the tongue and grove down...

This is the wall before they took the nails out...but...after the painted paneling and wallpaper were taken down...

We did manage to save a piece of this wallpaper too...one day I will frame them and put them back on the wall...just in a better way...

So, we wanted a Larger Living Space...ta-dah...here it is.

It is nice to have a Larger Living Space to have room for our family to spread out. And the furniture.

There are still some things to do in the newly enlarged space...carpet would be nice and some curtains...first we have to move the house further back on the property and level. Level would be really wonderful.
